Master Builders Pastor's Conference
March 11-12, 2010
Atlanta, GA

Dear MB Leader,

Greetings and blessings. Hope you are well and prospering in our Lord. I want to take this time to remind you of our two upcoming conferences for calendar year 2010.

First of all, we are going to have our annual MB Spring Leader's Retreat in Atlanta again on Thursday, March 11th-Friday, March 12th. Brother Joe will be sending out an email with the details of our hotel and schedule. Let me take this opportunity to tell you how important this time will be. We are calling this a ‘working retreat’ as we are asking all of the leaders who will be coming to brainstorm with us as we plot our course for the future.

We recently met (MB Leadership Team and Strategy Team) in Knoxville for two days and realized that God was calling our network to embrace real changes in the future. We sense that God is calling us to be part of a worldwide church planting, kingdom advancing movement that is changing the face of the church in this new decade! As a MB leader, it is so important that you come. We are going to have sessions where we break off into groups and strategize regarding these things. Your presence is important.

Secondly, at our recent team meeting we planned the MB International Leader's Conference which will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee again, Monday August 2nd-Wednesday, August 4th. Our special guest will be Pastor Jimmy Siebert, pastor of Antioch Community Church in Waco, Tx. Jimmy is a man with apostolic vision and power who has, through his church Antioch, released a worldwide, church planting movement that has literally planted hundreds of churches and has seen incredible harvest. I really believe that Jimmy consenting to be with us is God's perfect timing for where we are as a network at this time.

I cannot stress how important it is that you as a pastor of a MB church do all you can do to get young, upcoming leaders in your church to come to this conference. Jeff Oakes, a member of our leadership team was in Waco with Jimmy and the church after the MB team meeting in Knoxville. He called me and with passion urged me to tell the churches–“Whatever it takes get young leaders to this conference in Knoxville in August.”

One of our convictions as a fellowship of churches is that we must train the next generation of young leaders emerging in our midst. Please prepare now to plan on bringing as many young leaders as you can. Don't wait till the last minute but speak to them now so that they can make their plans to come. We will soon have a brochure in your hands outlining our August conference.

Please try to attend both these conferences and get young leaders on board to come to Knoxville in August. Together, we are laying the groundwork for what God wants to do through MB in the future.

To Him be the glory ~ Neil Silverberg
